How do you get any sort of funding on a Delta based project?
Title. Manager keeps telling me that it’s too new and “wonky” for the projects I’m working on, I just got paid for my last research (but that’s an award, does it even count?) but I’m investigating its use. How is he telling me it’s inappropriate for the project? I need to get paid, man.

It’s not like I haven’t been trying… AM keeps pestering me about when I’ll finish analysing the data because “if I don’t we’re all going to be in jeopardy and we’ll have to pay out of pocket” but I’m one person. Plus it’s not like that asshole gets his own subsidiary, he’s a full professor, and he’s telling his student to pay for his work??

suck it up. i paid for everything in the first three months of my internship and now that i won the dta it’s paying itself back lol. you’re just giving up too early. gonna earn that big money if you put your work into it.

I’d bring it up to HR if I were you. They’re supposed to be responsible for these things and accolades aren’t a part of your salary. Maybe write up an anonymous letter with just your department name and see what they can do. Best of luck!
